Cosmetic Laser Treatments
We offer advanced lasers such as the VBeam Perfecta, Fractional C02 laser, and PDT photodynamic therapy which can treat a variety of skin conditions or aesthetic concerns. For example. the VBeam Perfecta is effective in targeting irregular colors of the skin including conditions like rosacea, veins, scars, and birthmarks. Skin discoloration and pigmentation can also be treated.
For Various Scar Treatments
For the treatment of contracture scars, hypertrophic scars, keloid and acne scars, procedures like cortisone injections, silicon dioxide, laser therapy, cryotherapy, and dermal fillers. micro-needling or microdermabrasion may be recommended.
Body Sculpting & Enhancing Procedures
Body contouring and tightening treatments are available in our office in Arroyo Grande as well. Such treatments generally target cellulite and tighten the skin on the entire body depending on the procedure used. Coolsculpting for instance uses a cool gel applicator to freeze and eliminate fat cells. Venus Freee uses radio frequency and electromagnetic fields to heat the skin to encourage collagen production. Venus Freeze can treat the abdomen, neck, chin, cheeks, jowls, arms and lip lines. It is an anti-aging remedy.
Skin Cancer Detection and Timely Treatment
Skin cancer starts with the growth of a tumor. Sometimes benign growths such as moles or other skin growths can be initially non-deadly; however, they can still evolve and turn into cancerous tumors. Skin cancer can develop and evolve rapidly if not detected or diagnosed. Individuals with increased sun exposure over their lifetime may be at increased risk for developing skin cancer. We highly recommend against the use of tanning beds because of the dangers of UV radiation. SPF protection and limited sun exposure are advised.
