Virtual Dermatology Consultations

In the fast-paced world we live in, convenience is paramount. Telederm Services places a premium on your time and comfort, providing access to top-notch dermatology specialists right from the comfort of your own home. No more traffic, no more waiting rooms – just you, your device, and a virtual consultation with some of the best dermatologists in the industry. As an added note, we’re thrilled to announce that our telederm services are now exclusively available for residents of California, Nevada, and Arizona.

How It Works

Our process is designed to be as simple and straightforward as possible. Once you request an appointment, you’ll receive an email confirming the time and date of your consultation. Shortly before the appointment, you’ll receive a secure link to join the video call with your dermatologist. During your consultation, you’ll be able to discuss your skin concerns, and your dermatologist will provide recommendations for treatment. After the consultation, we’ll send you a detailed care plan outlining your treatment steps. It’s that simple – expert skin care advice from the comfort of your own home.

1. Sign Up and Describe Your Skin Issues

When you sign up for Telederm Services, you’ll be asked to provide a detailed description of your skin concerns. This step is crucial for two main reasons. First, it allows our dermatologists to make an initial assessment of your situation before the virtual consultation. Second, it aids in the formulation of a personalized treatment plan that addresses your specific needs. Skin health is a personal matter, and treatments are not one-size-fits-all. Therefore, accurately describing your skin issues is a critical component in getting the most out of your Telederm Services experience, leading to results that are tailored to you. We encourage you to be as detailed as possible, providing information about the duration, severity, and any patterns you’ve noticed regarding your skin issues. The more information we have, the better we can help you on your journey to healthier skin. Sign up today and let’s start working together towards your skin health goals.

2. Your Virtual Consultation

The heart of the Telederm services experience is your virtual consultation. During this visit, you’ll engage in a face-to-face discussion with your provider via video chat. This meeting is your opportunity to discuss your skin condition in depth, ask any questions you might have, and receive professional advice tailored specifically to you.

Our dedicated dermatologists will not only discuss your conditions in detail but will also provide comprehensive treatment plans. These plans will outline the steps you should take to tackle your skin issues, including skincare routines, lifestyle adjustments, and medications, if necessary.

3. Get Your Medications

After your virtual consultation, if your dermatologist recommends medication, we have you covered. Telederm Services offers two convenient options for obtaining your prescribed medications. For those who prefer picking up their prescriptions, our Curbside Pickup option is a swift, safe, and contactless method available at designated pharmacies. We also offer Home Delivery for those who would prefer their medications be delivered directly to their doorstep. This service is not only convenient but also prioritizes your safety, allowing you to receive your treatments without leaving your home. Simply choose the delivery option that best suits your needs during the checkout process, and we’ll take care of the rest. These services are designed with your comfort and convenience in mind, making managing your skin health easier than ever.

Telederm Cosmetic Procedures

Many dermatologic conditions can be assessed online from the comfort of your own home via our Telederm services. While some cases may require further treatment in person, most common skin, hair, and nail issues can be assessed and treated virtually. This includes things like acne, rosacea, eczema, rashes, warts, and unidentified moles. Schedule an appointment below to meet virtually with a Skin and Cancer Institute dermatologist.

Insurance Coverage For Medication Delivery

We understand the importance of affordable healthcare and strive to make our services as accessible as possible. For medication delivery, we accept both PPO and HMO insurance types. If you have a PPO insurance plan, you have the flexibility to choose any pharmacy, whether it’s in or out of your insurance network, for medication pickup, or home delivery.

However, if you are enrolled in an HMO plan, it’s essential to verify that your chosen pharmacy is within your insurance network to ensure coverage. Please provide accurate insurance information when scheduling your consultation so we can verify your coverage and ensure seamless delivery of your prescribed medications.

It’s just another way Telederm Services works to provide convenient, comprehensive care from start to finish.
