Taheri MD Skin Care (formulated by renowned dermatologist Dr. Daniel Taheri) uses the most advanced peptides engineered to promote collagen and elastin production in the skin. From acne treatments to antiaging therapies, our specialized toners, creams, and cleansers deliver glowing results for radiant, blemish free skin.

Photofacial Photofacial therapy uses an intense pulsed light laser to efficiently target acne scars with minimal healing time and maximum results.

Vbeam Perfecta The VBeam Perfecta pulse dye laser breaks apart damaged skin cells within acne and acne scars. These cells are absorbed by the body leaving behind fresh, unblemished skin.

Fractional CO2 Laser Treatment The fractional CO2 laser treats both superficial and deep skin layers simultaneously with precision control. It targets layers of damaged skin cells in columns, leaving the surrounding cells intact for quick healing.

Photodynamic Acne Treatment Photodynamic acne treatment combines light energy with medication that activates when the light is applied directly to the target area. This skin therapy covers a large surface area quickly and efficiently. Click here to learn more about how effective PDT therapy is for acne and acne scars as well as other persistent and unwanted skin conditions.

DiamondGlow DiamondGlow is an invigorating serum treatment that promotes long term skin health and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of all skin types. It offers instant, noticeable results with no downtime and no skin irritation. The DiamondGlow treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, nonirritating and immediately effective.

Chemical Facial Peels Chemical facial peels are highly effective antiaging treatments that improve the appearance of scars, wrinkles, and discoloration on the face without the need for invasive surgery.

Taheri Ultra Lightening Peel Designed by renowned dermatologist Dr. Daniel Taheri, Taheri Ultra Lightening Peel is a revolutionary new chemical peel formula that improves the appearance of scars, wrinkles, and discoloration on the face.

Microdermabrasion Microdermabrasion uses tiny crystals to deeply exfoliate facial skin. The dead and damaged top layer of skin will fall off, revealing a new, radiant facial profile. It’s a less aggressive alternative to regular dermabrasion with twice the results!

Microneedling Microneedling is a non-surgical procedure that uses tiny needles to puncture the skin. The damage caused by the needles encourages your body to send healing agents including elastin and collagen to the punctures to repair them. As the skin heals, you will be left with a radiant new complexion.

Nonsurgical Facelift Why take the risk of complicated, painful surgery when you can enjoy fabulous results for a fraction of the cost and none of the stress? At Skin And Cancer Institute, we offer a full menu of facial rejuvenation treatments. Customize your nonsurgical facelift by combining a variety of specialized nonsurgical procedures for stunning, long-lasting results.

Prescription Medication Prescription medication can help manage the severity and frequency of acne outbreaks. Your treatment will depend on the type of acne you have–pimples, whiteheads, blackheads, or cystic lesions. Prescription medication can improve your acne by clearing pores, killing bacteria, reducing the amount of oil in the skin, and reducing the effects of hormones that produce acne. Our expert dermatologists at Skin And Cancer Institute will assess your skin care needs and decide if prescription medication is right for you. Our prescription treatments for acne will often include a combination of topical and oral medication.

What can I expect the day I receive acne treatment?

Each type of acne treatment offers a slightly different experience, so talk to your skin care specialist once you decide which treatment is best for you. No matter which you choose, every acne treatment available at Skin And Cancer Institute is minimally invasive with quick healing time and optimal results.

What will recovery be like after I receive acne treatment?

If you choose a laser treatment option, you may experience mild swelling and dryness as well as a sensation similar to a sunburn for a few days after acne treatment. Patients are able to go back to work immediately following treatment. Even though you are able return to regular activities, it is important to follow the after care instructions given to you by your skin care specialist. Failure to do so may delay or diminish the results of acne treatment. Completely avoid the sun for 48 hours after each treatment session.

Do I need to follow a special skincare routine after receiving acne treatment?

Your skin care specialist will give you detailed instructions after your acne treatment. You may receive a prescription for special creams or gels to maximize the results. Be sure to use sunscreen daily to protect your skin from sun exposure during both the healing phase and for several months after treatment. Apply a moisturizing sunblock with an SPF of at least 30. For at least six months after treatment, avoid being in the sun as much as possible.

When will I see results after acne treatment?

Depending on the type of acne treatment and the severity of your acne and acne scars, you may need anywhere from 1-10 treatments for optimal results. Patients typically begin to see improvement after their first acne treatment, and many return once or twice a year for continued results. Prescription medication can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to begin seeing results depending on the type of medication you choose. Though it may take longer for changes to begin, the results are well worth the wait.
